Free Beacon: EPA Spends $15,000 to Give ‘TrashWalls’ to the Poor

TrashWallThe Washington Free Beacon reports that the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) awarded a grant of nearly $15,000 to Washington State University to develop a “TrashWall” that will insulate walls in low-income housing units. The TrashWall materials will include solid waste from plastic bags, paper, cardboard, and polystyrene. The grant says that walls made out of garbage can be a “comfort” to poor people.
